Motorized Stage X-Axis CXS8030
Description
GMT's CXS8030 motorized linear translation stage is ideal for automating assembly processes as well as measuring and testing tasks. The monoblock design of our linear axis increases the load capacity, rigidity and above all the thermal stability. With this concept, no separate guide elements are required, as these are incorporated into the profile and the body and guide therefore consist of one piece.
The ball cage guide in the displacement unit, together with the preloaded ball screw spindle, allows very precise and short strokes and stands for robustness and durability. Together with the optionally available closed-loop stepper motor, which is equipped with a high-resolution rotary encoder, repeat accuracies of less than 1 µm and a maximum speed of up to 60 mm/s are achieved.
The innovative plug connection Harting ix Industrial® ensures a secure hold. This plug is a robust and miniaturized Ethernet interface and replaces the conventional RJ45 connections.
Due to the design, our translation stages can be combined to form a motorized XY or XYZ stage. The drilling pattern also allows the assembly of our goniometer, rotation or lifting tables.
The advantages of the GMT ultra precision stages:
- Travel from 20mm - 200mm
- Repeat accuracies < 1µm
- Ball screw for high cycles and speeds
- Made of stainless steel
- High thermal stability
- Can be combined to form multi-axis systems
- 2-phase stepper motor from Nanotec
- Optional closed-loop stepper motors, optionally with integrated or external controller
- Harting ix connector® - for a secure connection
- Optical limit switches
- Low maintenance
- Compatible with other manufacturers
- For use in research, laser and measurement technology, in laboratories and in the industrial sector for the automation of precise and complex processes
The combination of our measuring stages with the Ezi-Servo series of closed-loop stepper motors increases repeatability and guarantees smooth and precise positioning. The system continuously checks the target/actual position and compensates for any mechanical faults or step losses that may occur. This ensures that the linear table always reaches and holds the desired position.
The motorized positioning stages can be easily connected to your system via the available interfaces such as Ethernet, RS485 (USB) or EtherCAT. All the necessary parameters are already preset so that closed-loop operation is possible immediately without any further programming knowledge. Simplifying motion control - The positioning tabels can be controlled by using the free software, which is available for download, or you can create your own programs using standard programs such as Matlab, LabView, C++, etc., for which libraries and examples are available.
