Magnetic Bases

GMT Europe magnetic bases provide a reliable and precise foundation for positioning, measurement, and alignment tasks. Depending on the application, two designs are available: the compact Thin Type series for limited installation space and the Standard Type series with higher holding forces for larger workpieces and measurement setups.

All models are made of carbon steel with a black zinc-plated surface and achieve a parallelism of up to 0.015 mm.

Series overview of magnetic bases

MMS Series magnetic bases

The MMS - Series

High-performance magnetic bases for higher holding forces
The MMS series includes standard-type magnetic bases designed for applications requiring increased holding force and stability. They are ideal for larger workpieces, measuring instruments, and precise measurement and alignment setups.

  • Holding force: 170 N - 700 N
  • Table size: 20 × 45 mm - 25 × 125 mm
  • Parallelism: 0.015 mm - 0.02 mm
  • Weight: 0.3 kg - 2.8 kg
  • Material: Carbon steel, black zinc-plated
MMT Series magnetic bases

The MMT - Series

Compact magnetic bases for space-constrained applications
The MMT series includes thin-type magnetic bases designed for applications with limited installation space. Their compact design makes them ideal for lightweight measuring instruments as well as positioning, measurement, and alignment tasks in compact precision setups.

  • Holding force: 10 N - 38 N
  • Table size: 12 × 38 mm - 12 × 66 mm
  • Parallelism: 0.03 mm
  • Weight: 0.3 kg
  • Material: Carbon steel, black zinc-plated
