Linear Guide Rails: The GBD - Series

The GBD series from GMT is a compact ball-type linear guide featuring integrated ball retainers for smooth, low-friction linear motion over a limited stroke. The hardened guide rails made of SUJ2, combined with a phosphor bronze retainer (C5191), ensure quiet operation and stable, precise guidance even in compact assemblies. Thanks to the ball geometry and optimized load distribution, the GBD series is particularly suitable for fine positioning tasks, optical systems, metrology and laboratory applications, as well as compact adjustment units where low friction and consistent motion are essential.
